Cerodex 5ml Eye/Ear Drops is indicated in steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular and otic condition for which a corticosteroid is indicated and where bacterial infection or a risk of bacterial ocular and otic infections exist. Eye: Acute and sub-acute conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, blepharitis, bacterial corneal ulcer prophylaxis in ocular surgery and treatment of post operative infections. Ear: Otitis externa, acute otitis media chronic suppurative otitis media and prophylaxis during otic surgeries such as mastoid surgery.

Eye infection: 1 to 2 drops into the affected eyes every 4 hours. Ear infection: 2 to 3 drops every 2 to 3 hours. SIDE-EFFECTS: Mild transient smarting sensation and conjunctival congestion are reported. USE IN PREGNANCY: It should not be used during pregnancy and lactation. CONTRAINDICATIONS: It is contraindicated in fungal, viral, tuberculous and other infection of the eye and in glaucoma. It is contraindicated in patients’ hypersensitivity to any component of this product.
